Oh My WORD
Can a day be any crazier? Can I do any other things that are any more unproductive for my job? What in the world.
Today is crazy. Everyone is sick, and at a small private school that is like your arm, leg, and head being cut off and then being told to swim the English Channel with one hand tied behind your back. CRAZY.
I have been as productive as an anorexic at a pie eating contest.
The above comment does not in any way condone anorexia. It does not make light of the disesase. It was only meant to show the extremity of my productiveness. This concludes my politically correct disclaimer.
So today that's about all you're gonna get.

i'm glad you clarified your stance on anorexia. kt, your flare for drama makes me laugh... an arm, leg, and head being cut off and then being told to swim the English Channel with one hand tied behind your back" ???
haha - no wonder i'm so dramatic! i think i absorbed it from all my old roommates! (just think: you, ama, suzanne, bianca...i think only taryn was not a drama queen!)
The sad thing is that I'm not really being dramatic. Our secretary is out - I tried to get two other staff members to cover, both of which were sick, we had a substitute get sick and not come, so now I'm finding a sub for a sub and trying to video tape presentations. We had another teacher request a sub earlier this week and it wasn't set up so I had to find a sub for that. I have a HUGE meeting on Tuesday with all our parents which noone else seems to share my trepidation and need to prepare for. Kids have gone crazy and are skipping and not doing work because we have subs. These are like the third and fourth signs of the apocolypse. I'm even trying to withhold the drama but I wanted to share with you the absurdity of my day so far and it has only gotten more and more crazy. Padded cell here I come.
BTW - Taryn had drama all her own (just a very special type of drama)
Weird, Blogger is toe-up. I, Katie, posted the last two comments and for some reason blogger isn't registering that the little dot by my name on the comment page is circled in.
taryn? drama? i don't remember taryn's drama. fill me in. better yet, maybe i should just call her and ask her to tell me about her drama.
i think i was her source of drama.
Crazy days like the one you just mentioned drive me insane, but on the bright side- the day FLIES by when you are that busy- on the downside, it doesn't leave much time to read all of your friends blogs... :)
I am pretty bored, so I am scrolling through my "friends'" blogs and writing ugly comments if they haven't posted anything in forty-eight hours. I understand that you don't have a computer available at all times, but, c'mon - get one!
