"Better than nothing"

Is it a good thing when your boss makes the following statement?

"Well there was Katie and she's better than nothing."

Good thing I have a wicked sense of humor and a pretty secure opinion of myself, that and sarcasm is my natural language.

Maybe I should make t-shirts with that ego booster.

"Better than nothing"

Would you buy one?

I'd totally buy one.

Better yet - don't pay someone to print them. Just buy some tshirts wholesale at Costco, grab some paints and do the lettering yourself.

Awesome.

Hehe.

I have had TWO of those glad-I', secure-in-myself moments lately.

1. A guy at church was talking to me about something when he said, "Well Jayleigh, you'd know, because you have really big hands... um... for a woman."

2. A guy at the chiropractor's office said, "Well you should know about having to go to a big guy to wrench your back around... cuz, well, you're pretty good sized yourself.

A pattern evolving? Do I need to diet? heheh

I mean, I know people call me an Amazon Woman, but geesh.

Oh Jay,
I've gotten the following from different roomies:

"Tall girl will you get that down off the top shelf?"

"You get to mow the lawn because you're . . . . bigger." (now for her I will say that she was like 5 foot even and I'm 5'9 so it just came out wrong)

So I feel your pain fellow amazonian.
