i think i'm gonna go with sliced bread. i mean, come on, such a time saver when making your sack lunch. i bet it cuts half an hour out of a mother-of-four's morning, as she gets all their sandwiches ready (especially if she's got boys and they go through two at a time!).

The Internet. OBVIOUSLY.
internet.
just to see you grimace.
Hmmm...
I would like to say - the internet - because I'm kind of an addict: but I do like bread too. I'm undecided. :o)

I'd like to suggest that they have opposite impact, but that the Internet is a greater impact...
Sliced bread SAVES time (as Katie says above) while the Internet TAKES (read: WASTES) time :-)
The Internet takes more time than sliced bread saves so the Internet is, thus, more of an impact (albeit in the opposite direction)
My 2 cents,

Sliced bread. It nourishes the body.
Guess you could say the internet nourishes the mind. But if you were starving, I'm guessing you wouldn't care so much about browsing the web.
Are you ever going to give us your answer to this, or were you just teasing us?
