VOTE

The first Tuesday after the first Monday in the month of November is . . . . Election Day.

Get up, get out, and vote. I'm not here to try to convince you one way or the other on who to vote for, but that you should vote, you should participate. I know who I will cast my vote for but I want our government to be representative of our nation so that means that everyone has to be heard, therefore everyone has to speak up.

And if you go vote you get a nifty sticker.

Vote.

They really should give you a glass of orange juice or a cookie like when you donate blood.

I didn't get a sticker and I certainly didn't get any juice or cookie. But I voted nevertheless.

I do think they should pass out cookies or something.

Here in Kentucky a poll worker and a voter got in a fight. The poll worker tried to strangle the guy. Turns out it was because the guy didn't vote in every category and the worker wanted him to. The guy said he didn't know enough about some of the races and candidates so he was abstaining from voting in those categories. That's not what the poll worker wanted to hear. From there, chaos ensued.

That's one way to keep people from voting: "Come to the polls if you wanna get choked."

Which is precisely why I couldn't go. I feared for my life.
