One of those days

Can you ever just feel it? You brush off the first few clues because you don't want to believe them. It can't be, you won't let it.

And then you realize that yes, it is going to be one of those days.

Now I'm all for being suprised. I'm all for the clouds parting and sunlight coming through. But right now the forecast isn't all that great. Things can change, and I am honest with myself enough to know that I can change my mind and decided that this isn't going to be one of those days, but sometimes my mind and my heart like to duke it out for a while before any real decisions are made.

I know I'm usually up but I also like to think that I'm real, and to be honest I need to admit that today is going to be one of those days.

So you all get jipped on the post, not sure I'm gonna be able to muster more than this today.

Apologies in advance.

wahhhhhhhhhh. sniff, sniff. :(

Here's a bit of good news for you though, to brighten your day.

Pride and Prejudice hits theatres next month. We can go see it together!! Keira Knightley stars in it ( I just watched the trailer).

Oh, and the 1st grade teacher at your school is my Bible Study leader. What a small world it can be sometimes!

hmm. one of those days. the contact lens in my left eye is bothering me. does that mean it will be one of those days for me, too?

my left contact is bothering me too Jes!!! I feel your pain. It's been bothering me for awhile though, I must admit. I'm blinking furiously because it's a hard contact, and it's dry, so it gets stuck to my eye. gross, I know. Need to get new ones....

solun!

Miss K-T. I'm sorry you're having a bummer day. Those are never fun. Would "manning the phones" today do anything to lift those spirits? ;)

I've debated commenting because I don't want to expand upon the funk that is my day. But I'm thankful for my friends and you deserve better out of me so here goes:

AM - thanks, we'll have to catch the movie, and I LOVE your bs leader

Lia - thanks for the free pass on bad days (can I get a few extras for the future?)

AM, Lia, Jes - two words: eye drops

Jef - no refunds, no exchanges, what you see is what you get, hmmm - soap? not so much an issue for me, but hey if it works for you

Ben - Thanks for always having my back - I appreciate your friendship (in person or not it is still true)

Stephanie - you made me laugh, thanks - not sure if the phones are the place for me today, don't think I would get a whole lot of interested callers

KT, you aren't expected to post every single day. I always take a page out of dooce's book, she doesn't post every day, she just makes sure that when she does post they are quality. So no worries, you have had so much quality lately that you are due a free pass!

Take a breather and then come back to us refreshed.

And don't let yourself get down, my parents beat it out of my when I was a kid, mom used to say, "YOu can get glad in the same pants you got mad in!" She was right!
