Kitty, Kitty, Kitty . . . . don't call me Kitty

It is the end of day on Friday and for this day, and this day ONLY, I will henceforth go by "Kitty".

So on this post, and this post alone, you may revel in calling me Kitty.

Enjoy.

For some reason... when I hear the word Kitty, I think of the song "Foxy Lady"

Dum, Dum, Da...
Dum, Dum, Da...

FOXY! lady.

Dum, Dum, Da...
Dum, Dum, Da...

FOXY! lady.

Also, didn't you where a Kitty costume at halloween this last year? Can't remember.

Man, I had one of those twilight zone moments just now. On my blog, just below the link to yours, is a link to someone in Australia...Kitty Cheng (kittycheng.blogspot.com). I kept reading your post giving "permission" to call you Kitty and I was thinking I was reading her blog. I have been calling her Kitty all along, so I was confused. ha ha

Time for some more COFFEE!!

I'll stick with Katie so I can keep the two of you apart. :)

Well...even though you are giving permission...I'll still call you Katy/Katie...I never remember how you spell it. Do I get brownie points for not calling you kitty???

Ha Ha, I hope everyone enjoyed that.

Actually I was named after my mom's best friend Kathryn Rae, and she goes by Kitty. Thankfully my mother called me Katie (just for you Shelley - don't ask me to explain why Kathryn has a "y" and Katie an "ie", my mom wanted it that way). And so when I revealed this to a few parties they thought that "Kitty" was so much more of a fun moniker.

I figured I would let the peanut gallery have their way for one afternoon.
